Nice!

I didn't even notice it loop. xD

Sexy guitar gets you bonus points.

Overall I like it, no criticisms here. :)

Thanks! :)

4:40 was my favorite part. I love the melody there.

In my opinion, you should save that score and work with it in a new project. You've got a melody that is practically a match made in heaven with that synth.

Other than that it's all very good, it just needs some serious mastering. The mix is kind of difficult at times, you can't tell what's going on because each sound is overpowering another one.

Lots of potential, though!

You're getting much better.

You've got a really good complex feel going on in this track. But you don't have the actual complexity to back it up.

Whether or not you're going for a complextro feel or not, this is too structured to be complextro. But at the same time, too complex to be dubstep alone.

Not really important, but just a little tidbit of information.

On to the song. Your sounds are starting to get more original. The vocals feel a bit out of place. Work with them a bit. Maybe throw on a vocoder, a phaser, or even a flanger and just kinda tinker about.

Now, your synths are good, but they could be MUCH better. I don't know what you might have on the different synths right now, but I think you have a bitcrusher on one of those wobbles, but that's beside the point.

Three types of effect plugins that will make your sound unique are your flangers, your phasers, and your filters. Reeverb and delay just make everything better, no matter what it is, when they are used right. So I don't include them in there. :D

You want your flangers to be kinda slow, depending on the synth, and your phasers will give your synth a varying level of texture, again, depending on how you use it. And lastly, your filters will give your sound a feel. Just keep layering and layering these different kinds of effect plugins on your synth and you'll get some insane sounds.

If you need some guidance on where to start or how to go about it, youtube and google are your friends. Or you could go to the Audio Forum and ask for some help. I'm totally willing to answer PMs too if that's how you prefer to ask for help.

dude, this is an amazing review. super useful, super helpful, all around great advice. i'll definitely use this when making my next song. i really appreciate you taking the time to write a solid review! :D

Supah Subby.

I like it! The bass parts are nice, the slowdown is mixed in well, and the melody is catchy.

My only issue is that the melody is pretty lacking in substance. It needs more....I don't know...fullness, I guess? Put in some more instruments n stuff and work with the melody. :D

RandomDanceOfHappy responds:

haha XD i was going for a somewhat simple sound with complex bass but yea ill see if i can get more sounds with out like messing up the mastering haha

. . . !

This is very cool.

It was a little unusual hearing all the familiar sounds and stuff that you used, but the song structure was great. I love the complex feel in certain areas of the song.

1:27 was insane. Great mix of trance and dubstep. Your kicks need some more punch and style. Try finding some sample packs for yourself. There are also a lot of youtube tutorials on making your own kick samples and such if you're into that.

Did I mention that this track is pretty damn filthy? No? This track is pretty damn filthy.

The lfos need some more high end. Right now they are kind of bland. Bitcrusher might help here.

I really like your melodies. You get bonus points for originality there. Try looking into things like scales and chord progressions. You have a lot of potential in that area.

I can't get enough of that melody. And those pads in the background are just sexy. Can't wait for you to finish it.

Or4nges responds:

Finished :D Glad you like it man!

I don't want to put a summary.

This song is pretty damn good. I should know.

I love the intro, but it's really silent in the first few seconds, maybe cut that part out and/or filter it in over the first couple measures.

At one point the intro is dominated by this drop-dead gorgeous sub and it's AWESOME. I'd love to know what you used to make it. :D

The rest of the track flowed nicely, but at about 4:25 I hear some resonance with the sub. I think that part needs some extra EQ-ing.

The production, on my crappy laptop speakers at least, is very crisp. I'll give it a listen with some headpones later to get a better feel for the mastering, so I won't let that affect my rating of the song. :)

The progression of the track is very nice. The upbeat parts mesh in and out of the slower parts seamlessly. So seamless, in fact, that I'd only realize it after the fact that it went from slower to faster or vice versa lol.

Overall it's a very well done song. Props to you!

I think this might be the best written review I have ever recieved lol. :)

Thanks alot.

The sub is done with a plugin called Subbsonic which is free to download with a bunch of other plugs intended for dubstep (called Itchy synths I believe). :) Hope that's helpful. :)

I demand this become an animation.

This is the first drama song I've ever listened to. I didn't even know there WAS a drama section. 0.0;

The plot is great.
The sound effects, while at some parts they could have been tweaked a bit, were great overall.
Perfect execution on this one. Big ups.

It was hard to pick what category to put it in ... but yes, lots of goodies in the drama section :D And thanks!

LOL THAT WAS AWESOME

Dude, this made my day.

I wanna see you use the vocals a bit more in this one. :D Glitch it up through the drop and kinda sprinkle it over where it sounds good.

Also, you need some hats.

But other than those two things it's FREAKING AWESOME. xD

RandomDanceOfHappy responds:

yayy for randomness :D want the voc thing i maid them from?
haha yea this was thrown together real fast o.o

Skexy.

You are getting a lot better as you expand to new genres! I can tell from just listening. :D

Cheezy saw melody is awesome. Love the vocal samples, but they are too quiet. You need to bring them out more. OMG THOSE WOBBLES. <3

I'd only want you to add in more chaos! Like a drop kick here, or a crash there. Make it chaotic! :D

THANKS! :D
I thought the vocals were ok, but I'll check that out.
I'm not gonna change that much about it anymore, I'm pretty satisfied with the result, but THANKS.
Awesome review!
Did I thank you yet?
