OMG!

You have no idea how much I'm spazzing out right now. I found this song on youtube shortly after finding sandstorm by Darude. I couldn't find it on iTunes after a while so I eventually gave up on it, but now I'm here, almost a year and a half in my membership here @ NG, and I'm finding this.

This is definitely -the- best song I've heard out of NG. It's very professional, it's got variety, it's got a bad beat that'll make you dance any day, it's full of energy, and so much more. My only criticism is the length. I would LOVE to see this turned into a 4-5 minute track.

P.S. That piano blitz/solo in the middle just kills me every time. I can't get enough of it!

Not a big fan of this one.

It's nice, but it's certainly not your best work. :|

I hope it's not just me, but every one of your songs can go one of two ways for me:
a) Dont' really like it at first, but I keep listening and it grows on me.
b) Love it from the start.

This one was neither. It never really grew on me, nor did I love it from the start. It doesn't have that one "thing" that I love about your songs. I wish I knew what that thing was, lol. (I'll let you know when I find out ;D )

Conclusion:
Not impressed. Overall mood to the song: "meh."

You are evil.

You give us these delicious wips and then you're all, YOU HAZ NEED MOAR WAITING FOR MEH TO FINISH.

It makes me cry myself to sleep at night.

I liked all of them and was too busy rocking out to figure out where each wip starts and ends.

I know the one at the end made me dance.

That one at ~4:30 was a total boss.

A few other ones made me think of the old megaman games and I got all nostalgic and played an old GBA SP megaman game for about 5 hours.

Anywho, wonderful compilation. Can't wait for the full songs.

Very well done.

Your songs always make me feel nostalgic, remembering back to when I would play all those RPGs like Zelda, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and some others.

I think you should seriously consider applying for a job at Square Enix. You got the stuff, man.

Foundation.

I listen to this and I see a skyscraper of potential. I very much agree with the guy below, you should look into custom sounds, eq'ing, and mastering (definitely). I kind of see this song as a foundation for that skyscraper of potential.

To put it differently:
You've got a good ear for music; that's important. But you lack your own personal touch, which is very important as it differentiates your songs from the rest. I'd definitely look into what kind of tones you really like, or a beat that really gets you. Find something like that and apply it to your songs, I assure you it will turn out great.

But for this song, It's well done, but kind of "meh".
I'm looking forward to your future works!

I like it.....but

There's something that's really bugging me about this song. I feel like there's too much going on. The melody and everything is wonderful, don't get me wrong; it's just that there's something that's there that I feel shouldn't be there.

It might be the stream (?) in the background, I'm not sure.

Sorry if this sounds really vague, I can't really tell what I'm not happy with :|

Your best work

I honestly feel that this is your best work man. I have never gotten tired of this song. Ever. The opening is so deep, so powerful; I can't get enough of it! I'd ask how you did that, but I have nothing to apply your answer to (not an artist) so I'm not going to ask. (lol)

You are right, this is definitely your best melody work. I absolutely love that part at 2:30 with just that one....whatever the heck it is going; and then all the other elements just jump right in 15 something seconds later. Awesomeness to the extreme man. And I absolutely love how the ending and opening match, it gives it a circular feel, similar to the way the earth is round, but different.

Keep making stuff like this, I'd pay good money for it if it wasn't already free.
